I have always been fascinated by shoes.
For years, working in the fashion world, I lived amidst meetings, travel, events, and weekend getaways. It was an exciting life, but also a demanding one, where I constantly faced the same dilemma: finding a shoe that could accompany me in all these situations.
Comfortable shoes rarely had the elegance I was looking for. The more sophisticated ones were difficult to wear for hours. Some worked with certain outfits but not with others. And when I traveled, the problem became even more evident.
This is a reality shared by many women who seek comfort without sacrificing their style, their femininity, or quality. That's why I decided to create Isabel Abdó.
The idea was simple: to design the shoe I myself had been trying to find for years. A feminine yet comfortable shoe. Sophisticated, yet easy to wear. Elegant, yet versatile. A design capable of keeping up with a busy schedule and naturally adapting to different times of the day.
I have always believed that elegance should not demand sacrifices. That's why each collection is born from the same philosophy: to reconcile style and comfort without compromising either.
Designs inspired by the most iconic silhouettes of women's footwear, artisanal craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and meticulous attention to detail. All guided by a conviction I consider essential: the value of things well made.
I deeply believe in smart luxury. A luxury that isn't about accumulating or paying more, but about choosing better. About finding pieces that work, that last, and that you always come back to.
Because the best design isn't the one that gets the most attention. It's the one that discreetly accompanies you, makes you feel confident, and never makes you doubt.
That is, and always will be, the purpose of my brand.
